- Attended the National Botanical Gardens and successfully completed his Diploma with distinction in Amenity Horticulture.
- Attended Writtle College where he continued his studdies and received an honors Degree in Horticulture (BSc Hons Horticulture), this was presented by celebrity TV gardener Alan Titchmarch who is the patron of the college.
